Minerva Worldwide Practically A Neighbor

Minerva Worldwide, with headquarters in Seattle, Washington, is a developing a website designed to help members find information on weight loss and related content. It is scheduled to launch at the beginning of 2012 and can be found here: Minerva Worldwide.  The cool thing for me is this company is practically in my backyard so I wonder if they take walk in interviews?

MinervaPlace will bring together physicians and scientists in the wellness and nutrition fields to provide members with articles and videos on weight management, fitness, wellness, fashion and beauty. Visitors and members will be able to interact on topics that interest them.  The site itself will also have Brooke Burke-Charvet as the face of the site.

If you don’t know who she is, Brooke won Season 7 of “Dancing with the Stars.”  The decision made by Minerva Worldwide is really smart because that particular show caters to the Minerva Worldwide’s target market.  Brooke and Minerva Worldwide created an introduction scene for their site where she mingles with the company executives.  Brooke also introduces the Minerva Worldwide diet called “The Ultra Smart Diet” as well as encourages them to become active online members of its community.

From the Minerva Worldwide corporate website:

“A third of adults in the U.S. are obese and another third are overweight. Americans are getting fatter every year, including the 17 percent of children and teens who are obese! Minerva is dedicated to doing something about it. Fighting childhood obesity is our cause and our mission and the foundation of a cause marketing initiative within the company. Ten percent of every basic Minerva annual membership fee goes to the fight against childhood obesity.”

Enrollment Options

A Minerva membership will cost $19.95 per year. Members will receive a MinervaPlace.com site.  You can go there now, but its still displaying a coming soon page.  But if you search around enough you will find plenty more information from their press releases and such.

According to marketing materials, the Minerva Place marketing team includes: Charlie Culver, Larry Thompson, Jimmy Kossert, Peter Baloff , John Gustin and Ted Charchuk.  That probably doesn’t mean much to you because you don’t know who they are.  And I have to admit neither do I but I thought it only fair to add that information in there.  The Minerva Worldwide website claims that those men combined have a total of 110 years of network marketing experience so I have no bout they will bring something special to the table when the time comes.
