New Years Day Fireworks

Nothing Like New Years Day Fireworks To Bring In the New Year

2011 has brought us all a great amount of wonderment and fear but just like New Years Day Fireworks the year started out with a bang.  Then it ended just the same.  Its clear that over the course of the last year more people were searching for work then ever before, but more millionaires were created during this and past recessions all over the world.

Just like New Years Day Fireworks, you need to take your future into your own hands and shine bright in the sky.  Learn from others around your, both the good and the bad.  Build upon your own fireworks display and set yourself out from the crowd.  Create the ultimate display of new years day fireworks  full of wonder and explode your “You, Inc” to its ultimate potential.

Yes – 2012 is YOUR year.

You see, it’s all about YOU this year.

2012 is going to be YOUR year.

Why?

Because I feel there is a fundamental shift happening within our community – online and offline.
Everyone around us is becoming more “in-tune” with themselves, their passions and their lives, and their businesses.
I see 2012 being the year for you to achieve everything you have EVER dreamed of.

Everything you have ever wanted to be and more.

This is the time of year we all choose to make our lives different in some way shape or form.
And this all begins with setting the right ”resolutions”.
Now…”resolutions” can be tricky because sometimes they just end up being empty promises to yourself.

There’s a simple 6 step process I take when it comes to setting goals and accomplishing those ”resolutions” and I’ve listed them below…

1) If you haven’t already made your resolutions
or goals for 2012, do it RIGHT NOW! Seriously!
Just take a pad and paper and jot down some things
you want to accomplish in 2012.

2) Now pick just ONE resolution that you want to
focus on the most. The reason for this is because
when you have too many goals and you fail on one
of them, it seems that they ALL go down the drain!

So just start with ONE.

3) Take baby steps towards your goals. This isn’t a
contest or a race! Be sure to work at your goals
confidently, consistently, and calmly. If you try to
do too many BIG things at once, you’ll feel as though
you are failing because you are not accomplishing them.
So take baby steps. :)

4) Visualize your goals and actually SEE yourself
accomplishing the goals you set out to accomplish.
Visualization is one of the most powerful techniques
and can drastically change your perception and outcome
of everything you put your mind to. Make this a daily
practice!

5) Give yourself positive reinforcement. This can be
done by simply rewarding yourself for the things you
are accomplishing! It can be anything from going out
to a nice meal, to a vacation, or maybe even buying
some new clothes. But know in your mind that this is
because of something YOU accomplished.

6) Be grateful. Everything in life is about being
grateful. Even when you think “bad” things are
happening in your life, remember that it is always
for a reason. There is ALWAYS a reason for the things
that happen in your life. So, be grateful for everything
and everyone in your life. All the good, all the bad,
and everything in between!

I’ve had great success following these simple 6 steps in my life and I wanted to share them with you.

Because you are the future and only you make reality happen.

Remember – it’s not about IF something is going to happen, it’s about when it’s going to happen. :)

Here’s to a New Year filled with an abundance of happiness, health, and prosperity.

Happy 2012 – The year of YOU.

I enjoyed your post Clint!

Yes, the consistent small steps accumulate into the accomplishment of a large goal.

Writing those goals on paper is a great practice as you can refer back to them and not just depend on memory when your working in a forward direction.

Thanks Clint and I’ll share your post!

Great collection of worldly fireworks too!

Hi Clint,

#4 works so well.

I gained more success as I practiced visualizing daily. Actually, I take a 10 minute break each hour. Meditation followed by visualization. Works wonders for me.

Before it happens we see it in minds eye. Your dream life materializes after playing it over on the screen of your mind. Make it fun. Practice going to the mental movies. See the picture in detail. Become emotionally involved with the picture but not attached. Go into each session with a, “If this happens, awesome, if not no big deal.” The lightness around your picture helps the Universe create your dream with greater speed.

Thanks for sharing your insight Clint. Happy New Year :)

Absolutely! Pursuing one resolution and achieving success is much more meaningful than trying to pursue multiple resolutions and failing.

Set yourself up for success … not failure.

Gorgeous fireworks! Thanks for sharing.

Clint,

The most important point to me is the one referring to gratitude. Being grateful for what you have, who you are and the difference you make in the world lays the foundation for all else.

Great fireworks display!

Clint,
Powerful article. I agree with each and every step. I am almost finished reading ‘The Slight Edge’ and Jeff Olson talks about baby steps which will result in compounded interest over a period of time. Visualization is so powerful, too. I spend at least 15 minutes a day visualizing.
